About
Forum Ventures works the earliest stretch of a B2B software company's life — the part between an idea and a first institutional round — through three connected vehicles. Its accelerator acts as what it calls a fractional co-founder, focused on early go-to-market and fundraising; its pre-seed fund invests in and beyond that cohort; and an AI-first venture studio starts at the concept stage, building companies with entrepreneurs rather than funding them after the fact. The firm dates itself to 2014 and reports 430 companies funded, a community of 1,300 founders, and roughly US$1 billion in follow-on funding raised by its portfolio, including rounds led by a16z and Bessemer. Its team is drawn largely from operators and former founders: Michael Cardamone is chief executive and managing partner, Jonah Midanik — himself a graduate of the accelerator a decade ago — is a managing partner, and Bocar Dia, previously a go-to-market sales leader at Hootsuite, is a partner.
Backers
The firm lists advisors and early investors including Nick Mehta (Gainsight), Ryan Petersen (Flexport), Rowan Trollope, Karen Page, Susan Kimberlin and Joe Floyd of Emergence Capital.
