About

Grow launched as Grouplend, a technology-driven consumer lender, then pivoted to selling the underlying origination and engagement software to the incumbents it had set out to compete with — banks, credit unions and other financial-services providers. ATB Financial acquired it in 2019 and most of the team, including founder and CEO Kevin Sandhu, moved across. Sandhu presented at TechVancouver in early 2016 on what banking would look like in five years.
