About
hungerhub sits between offices and restaurants. Its main product, Uncatering, replaces a single bulk catering order with individual choice: each employee picks their own meal from a rotating set of local restaurants, and hungerhub handles ordering, delivery windows, labelling and billing as one invoice. It also runs on-demand catering for events and a managed catering service. The network is roughly 400 restaurants and caterers across more than ten Canadian cities, serving over 500 offices. The company grew without venture rounds and appeared on The Globe and Mail's Top Growing Companies list for six straight years from 2020, and on Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 in 2022. In February 2026 it was acquired by HUNGRY, a US workplace-food platform; the two companies said the combination put annual revenue above $110 million and made them one of the larger workplace food platforms in North America. Rohan Jayasekera is its chief technology officer.
