About
Ian Brooks launched HelloFresh Canada in 2016 as the Canadian arm of HelloFresh, the Berlin-based meal-kit company. It ships pre-portioned ingredients and recipes to homes, closing orders before buying stock to limit waste, and refines recipes from large volumes of customer ratings. At TechTO in 2018 Brooks framed the model as a response to food waste.
