About

Jane began as a favour. Alison Taylor was opening a health practice in North Vancouver and asked Trevor Johnston, who ran a small digital agency nearby, for a website and a logo; hearing her complain about booking, he offered to build something instead. It grew by referral rather than funding, and its expansion has been market-pull: Canadian physio, chiro and massage first, then US acupuncturists and chiropractors from 2017, then a sudden wave of Canadian mental-health practitioners in 2020 that became its largest group within a couple of years. Johnston told that story on the TechTO Vancouver stage in March 2025. The company remains bootstrapped and employs more than 500 people.
