About
Limelight Platform is a Toronto software company for experiential and event marketing, used by brands to run live activations and measure their return. Founder Jonah Midanik told the TechTO stage in December 2015 that the company grew out of an advertising agency he and his co-founders ran: they built a rough internal tool for their own brand clients, tested it against real work, and productized it once they saw the same problem everywhere. In June 2021 the company appointed Terry Foster — an advisor since its early days — as CEO, with Midanik moving to chair; it later acquired experiential-data company Meshh.
Backers
Venture-backed. Founder Jonah Midanik has said he raised eight figures of capital for the company. Specific investor names are not published here, so this is left as an assumption rather than confirmed.
