About
Soni and Gupta met in high school in India and came to North America separately — Soni to the University of Alberta, Gupta to the Illinois Institute of Technology — before starting LoginRadius in Edmonton in 2012. The product is CIAM: the login, registration, consent and identity-data layer a consumer brand would otherwise build and maintain itself. A US$17 million round in July 2019 led by Microsoft's M12 venture fund with ForgePoint Capital roughly doubled the company and moved its head office to downtown Vancouver. Soni took the TechVancouver stage in 2017 and framed the whole story around adaptability — his line was that the company believes in evolving 365 days a year.
