About
Median.co began in early 2014 as GoNative, started by John Snyder and Weiyin He, former college roommates whose careers brought them back together in New York City. The product builds hybrid webview apps for iOS and Android from an existing web application, aimed at teams that want a native app in the stores without maintaining two more codebases. The company has raised no outside venture funding. Thomas Waites, its chief revenue officer, took the TechTO Sales Toronto stage in August 2025 with a talk on building a winning sales team culture — team targets over individual ones, belief over pressure — drawing on the revenue organisation he built at Median from the ground up before stepping into the CRO role and moving the business from SMB one-time fees to enterprise recurring revenue.
