About
Missive launched in 2015 out of Quebec City, built by Philippe-Antoine Lehoux and two co-founders he met at l'Abri, the co-working space he opened in his home town. The product started as a fix for their own frustration with collaborating over email and became a shared inbox combining email, chat, tasks and automation. The company has never raised outside money; Lehoux told TechTO's Founder Journey in November 2025 how bootstrapping shaped the way they build and who they hire.
