About
Mucker Capital is a seed-stage venture firm founded in 2011 by Will Hsu and Erik Rannala, built on the thesis that the best software companies are increasingly started outside Silicon Valley. It describes itself as the largest seed fund focused exclusively outside the Bay Area, with locations in Los Angeles, Austin, Chicago, Toronto and New York, and runs MuckerLab, a pre-seed accelerator. Its portfolio includes Honey, acquired by PayPal; ServiceTitan, which listed on Nasdaq; and AuditBoard. Hsu told TechTO during Toronto Tech Week in June 2026 that the firm launched with no LPs, no documents and no office — just a website — and had 150 applications within four days.
Backers
A venture fund rather than a venture-backed company; LPs are not disclosed.
