About
Founded by Sarah Morgan, Nano-Lit replaces the diffuser inside a light fixture that is already installed — recycling the metal housing rather than replacing it — with quantum-dot material that lets the same fitting run lighting recipes tuned to the time of day. The Georgia Straight reported in 2018 that offices using it saw employee retention rise and fewer sick days, and that seniors' homes saw fewer night-time accidents. Morgan took the TechVancouver stage in April 2018 to talk about resilience rather than the product, saying she had failed in her first company and several times in this one. The company later launched a circadian lighting product called Artemis via Kickstarter.
