About
Open Screenplay was built on the premise that quality should matter more than connections in getting a script read. It breaks story structure into a guided workflow, offers patented co-writing technology so writers in different countries can work on the same script, and adds an AI writing companion called Rawi. It runs screenplay and story-concept contests, with an advisory board drawn from producers, studio executives and screenwriting faculty. Founder Khaled Al Sabawi came to it from engineering and energy: he installed the first geothermal systems in Palestine and led a land-titling venture before turning to storytelling as the problem worth solving.
