About

Phenomic AI was born in Toronto in 2017 and went through the 2017/18 Creative Destruction Lab cohort at the University of Toronto's Rotman School. It launched publicly in October 2020 with US$6 million in financing and a platform aimed squarely at stroma-rich cancers, an area where conventional screening struggles. In November 2023 it signed a collaboration and licensing agreement with Boehringer Ingelheim to discover targets in stroma-rich cancers.
