Plusgrade, founded in 2009 by Ken Harris in Montreal, builds software that lets airlines, hotels, cruise and rail companies sell upgrades and other ancillary products, generating incremental revenue from existing inventory. It is backed by Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec, Novacap and General Atlantic, and in 2023 completed a roughly US$385M acquisition of loyalty-commerce company Points.
