About
ProteinQure combines molecular simulation and machine learning to do structure-based design of protein drugs, and has moved from platform to its own candidates. CEO and co-founder Lucas Siow told BetaKit in May 2025 that its trial was the first for a drug from an Ontario-based AI company, running in Canada and the US including at Toronto's Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. He spoke at TechTO in February 2020 about the hardest part of building the company.
