About
Public Inc was started in 2008 by Phillip Haid and Paul Estey, both of whom came out of the non-profit sector, on the argument that purpose belongs at the top of a company's business agenda rather than in a side budget. The agency builds social impact campaigns and partnerships for corporate and non-profit clients and is listed in the Canadian B Corp directory. Estey took the HealthTO stage in July 2017 to talk about workplace health and wellness — specifically why office life produces so little physical activity, and how the health technology community could partner on changing that rather than treating it as an HR problem. Trade publication Strategy has tracked the agency's growth and creative work since. Its own site now describes offices in Toronto and New York.
