Sprint.ly is agile issue tracking for software teams — dashboards, activity feeds, progress tracking and search over a team's work. Joe Stump, formerly lead architect at Digg and a co-founder of SimpleGeo, launched it with Graham Blache in Portland, Oregon in 2011, and it raised a $500,000 seed round in 2012 from investors including Freestyle and Soma Ventures. It was acquired by Quick Left in January 2014. The product is still online and carries a 2026 copyright, though no current ownership or location is published on the site. Sprint.ly's place in the TechTO archive comes from April Dunford, who was there when she took the TechTO stage in February 2016 with 'Leaky Buckets, Death Stink & True Love' — an argument that marketing cannot fix a product people keep leaving — and again at Best of TechTO 2017 at Toronto City Hall on why customers don't understand your new product. She has since become one of the most widely read voices on B2B positioning and the author of Obviously Awesome and Sales Pitch.
