About
Surge Distributed Protocols built web3 applications, and its main product was CryptoMibs — a gaming platform where marbles are NFTs and the games are played with them. Co-founder Tanya Lindsay put it in one line on the TechTO Web3 panel in March 2023: "Surge Distributed Protocols — a lot of words for essentially a company that does web3 apps. Our biggest product is called CryptoMibs; we are a gaming platform on Ethereum and Polygon." What she said interested her about the technology was not the tokens but the plumbing between projects: the company's idea was to bring other projects and ecosystems into its own platform. The company shared an address and both directors with Surge ERP Consulting, the partners' ERP practice, which continues.

Who ran it?
Tanya Lindsay and Dino Nosella — Corporations Canada lists both as the corporation's directors. Lindsay is credited as a co-founder and is the one who spoke for the company on the TechTO stage in 2023; no source names Nosella as a founder.
Is it still operating?
No. Corporations Canada records SURGE Distributed Protocols Corp. as dissolved by the corporation on 2025-04-08. The CryptoMibs and Surge sites were still resolving in September 2026, and the partners' ERP practice, Surge ERP Consulting, continues.
What did it say on the TechTO stage?
On the March 2023 TechTO Web3 panel on what is holding web3 back, Lindsay made the case for interoperability — bringing other projects and ecosystems into the platform — as the interesting part of blockchain.
