About
Tablevoice sells restaurants an AI host that answers the phone. Its agent, Foodie, takes calls 24/7 — configurable to every call or only the missed ones — books reservations directly into OpenTable, Resy and SevenRooms, texts guests and passes the rest to staff through a single inbox. The company says it handles 80–90% of calls start to finish, is used by hundreds of people across North America, and in one restaurant case study captured more than $25,000 in reservations in a single month. In March 2026 it announced an integration partnership with OpenTable. Co-founder and COO Pascal Dessureault took the TechTO stage at Toronto Tech Week in June 2026, on the panel of Canadian founders back from the Game On San Francisco immersion, where he argued restaurants lose bookings at the last step of a funnel they paid heavily to fill.

Quick answers
What does Tablevoice do?
It answers restaurants' phones with an AI host called Foodie — taking reservations and writing them into OpenTable, Resy or SevenRooms in real time, texting guests, and handing anything else to staff. Restaurants can point every call at it or only the ones nobody picks up.
Who founded it?
Pascal Dessureault is co-founder and chief operating officer; he came from two decades in communications and marketing at financial services firms. The company does not name its full team on its site. It describes itself as "made with care in Toronto & Calgary".
What is the OpenTable partnership?
Announced in March 2026: Tablevoice's AI host works alongside OpenTable in real time, confirming bookings directly in OpenTable, recording special requests, and suggesting another location in a restaurant group when the first choice is full.
