About
Turalt builds what it calls the technology of empathy: real-time feedback on how assertive, empathic, formal and clear a piece of business writing is. The models are drawn from psycholinguistics and the cognitive-science literature as well as data. CEO and co-founder Dr Chris McKillop took an AI degree in the early 1990s, and told the TechTO stage in March 2019 that the company runs as much as it can inside a customer's own systems, never sells anyone's data, and treats ethics as daily practice rather than a policy page. The company is named for Alan Turing.
