About
Mandy Chan founded Vidigami in Vancouver in September 2012, wanting a private place to see her sons' school life beyond the classroom. The platform lets a school's staff, faculty, families and students contribute photos into one secure library, then organise and share them within the community rather than on public social media — which puts the company squarely in the middle of school privacy questions as AI photo tagging spreads. Chan spoke about her path as a founder on the TechVancouver stage in March 2018.
