About
Wishpond was founded in Vancouver in 2009 by Ali Tajskandar, initially as an online retail aggregator before becoming a marketing-software platform for small and mid-sized businesses. It bundles landing pages, pop-ups, forms, email and marketing automation, and has grown into a publicly traded SaaS company. In March 2026 founder Ali Tajskandar stepped down as CEO to lead SalesCloser, an AI voice-agent business spun out of Wishpond, and longtime COO Jordan Gutierrez — who joined in 2011 — was named CEO. Gutierrez presented the company's growth-hacking playbook at TechVancouver in 2016.
Backers
Publicly traded on the TSX Venture Exchange (and OTC as WPND) since 2020; earlier funded by venture and angel capital. Public-market listing confirmed; earlier private rounds are an assumption.
