Wizeprep — branded 'Wize' to students — grew out of Beat Your Course, the in-person university crash courses Cyrus Moradian bootstrapped after struggling in his own first year. It sells online course-specific exam prep across Canadian and US institutions. A US$3 million round announced in January 2021 came from Panache Ventures, Luma Launch and angels, with EA marketing executive Chris Bruzzo advising.
