Cache

Cache is a Toronto resale app that turns an influencer's closet into a storefront. Devyn Olin, a lawyer with an MBA who worked at ELLE.com and Moda Operandi, founded it in 2024 to take the tedious part out of reselling clothing and luxury pieces, and launched it publicly during Toronto Tech Week.

About

Cache started from a different idea. Olin, then working in corporate law, wanted to fractionalise luxury fashion as an asset, and changed direction after interviewing prospective users and finding the real friction was the resale process itself — listing, pricing, shipping. Running in-person closet sales in New York and Toronto surfaced the customer: influencers turn over clothing far faster than most people and already have an audience, which makes them the strongest sellers and the ones for whom the manual work bites hardest. The app uses AI to compress that work so selling a piece is closer in effort to buying one. Olin is co-founder and CEO, built the company through Antler in Canada, and holds a JD/MBA from the University of Toronto after an earlier run through fashion — content at ELLE.com, e-commerce at Moda Operandi, brand strategy at Métier Creative. Cache launched with a four-day activation in Toronto's Yorkville during Toronto Tech Week. Olin told the TechTO stage in September 2025 how the company found its market.
