About
Enso Connect grew out of a $5,000 Airbnb dispute after a ski trip. Gouelo built the first version while finishing an undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto, and the concept won a $10,000 prize at a computer science innovation competition. The platform automates guest messaging, verification, upsells and check-in for property managers, and had automated roughly 60% of guest-host communications by late 2021.
