About

Gobble sells a weekly, opt-out meal-kit subscription in the United States: prepped ingredients that come together in one pan in roughly 15 minutes. Its Toronto-based CTO Chris Woodford ran engineering remotely and told the TechTO Product audience in 2020 that Gobble's best customers are the ones who never open the app — they let the algorithm pick and the box arrive. That makes conventional A/B testing useless at Gobble's traffic, so the team leaned on feature flags and large, reversible changes instead. Intelligent Foods acquired Gobble in December 2022 and named Garg CEO of both Gobble and Sun Basket; the brands continue to run separately.
