About

AcuityAds built programmatic advertising technology in Toronto and later took the name of its own journey-planning product, illumin, as the corporate brand. Chief strategy officer Seraj Bharwani — a Digitas co-founder who joined in 2017 — brought the company's core research problem to MarketingTO in June 2018: reach and frequency are largely solved, but viewer attention is not, and neither shorter creative nor better creative closes the gap between how much video brands produce and how much time audiences have.
