About

JUICE Mobile was founded in Toronto in 2010 by Neil Sweeney to grow and monetize mobile advertising, counting more than 300 of the Fortune 500 among its clients and reporting over C$25M in 2015 revenue. Yellow Pages Limited acquired it for C$35M in March 2016 and consolidated it into its Mediative agency unit. In November 2018 Yellow Pages moved to liquidate Mediative and sell JUICE, and Curate Mobile acquired the assets effective 1 January 2019. CTO Dennis Kuzmar rebuilt the company's data platform on AWS, as he described on the TechTO stage in October 2017.

Backers

Acquired by Yellow Pages Limited for C$35M in 2016 and folded into its Mediative agency unit, then sold to Curate Mobile in January 2019 after Yellow Pages exited the agency business. Earlier venture backing was not confirmed from a primary source.
