About
Adam Guild dropped out of high school to start the company in 2018, first selling reservations to restaurant chains and pivoting to online ordering when the pandemic closed dining rooms. The pitch to a single-location restaurant is that the commission-free ordering, website and marketing stack the big chains build for themselves should be rentable for a flat fee. Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives led a $240 million round in August 2026 at a $2.3 billion valuation, with Meritech, Redpoint, Headline and Jack Altman following on; the company said at the time it had crossed $100 million in annual recurring revenue and powered more U.S. locations than Domino's or Taco Bell. Its Toronto-based revenue leadership has been a regular presence at TechTO: chief revenue officer Kyle Norton on sales coaching in 2024, and VP of revenue operations Steve Dinner on making RevOps a partner rather than a bottleneck in 2026.
Backers
Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives led the 2026 round; Meritech, Redpoint, Headline and Jack Altman are existing investors, and the 2025 Series C also drew the CEOs of Sweetgreen and Cava.
