About

Storesight exists because two halves of the same problem were separate companies. Field Agent ran a nationwide field force of shoppers who visit stores; Shelfgram — the Toronto company Bram Warshafsky built — ran the AI platform that reads what is in the photographs they take. The combined company, unified under the Storesight name in 2024, sells consumer-goods brands a continuous picture of retail execution: share of shelf calculated in real time and backed by shopper photos, on-shelf availability from image analysis, store walks done from a desk, display execution tracked store by store and day by day, pricing, and competitive intelligence. Its own numbers describe the collection engine behind that: more than 230 product categories actively collected across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, fifty new brands added each week, more than 25 retailers visited each week, and 3,600 photographs added an hour. Warshafsky, who co-founded 5Crowd and led product at Shelfgram, is chief product officer; the company operates from Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Backers

Quick answers

What does Storesight do?

It measures retail execution for consumer-goods brands — share of shelf, on-shelf availability, pricing, display execution and competitive intelligence — from photographs taken in stores by a field force and read by an AI platform.

Where did it come from?

It is the 2024 combination of Field Agent, which ran the nationwide field force, and Shelfgram, which built the AI shelf-image platform. The company describes the name change as a unification rather than a rebrand.

How much data does it collect?

By its own count, more than 230 categories across the US, Canada and the UK, 50 new brands a week, more than 25 retailers visited weekly, and 3,600 photographs added every hour.

Who from Storesight is in this directory?

Bram Warshafsky, its chief product officer, who founded Shelfgram and co-founded the marketing company 5Crowd. His TechTO appearance was a 2015 panel on managing remote workers.
