About
The Real Human Project starts from a problem that has nothing to do with technology: people who work together often do not know each other. Its answer is a private podcast. An organization sets up a feed, invites people to record, and each guest sits with Sam — an AI interviewer that asks questions, waits, and lets the guest pause, skip or start an answer again. The low-pressure part is the point: an AI does not judge a rambling answer.
What comes back is not automated. Human editors tighten the audio, the guest hears the cut and approves it before anything publishes, and episodes then land in a private feed on the usual podcast apps. Roughly 15 minutes of talking becomes an episode colleagues actually listen to.
Noah Godfrey founded it. He co-founded Checkout 51, the cash-back grocery app that reached four million members before News America Marketing acquired it in 2015, and stayed about three years with the acquirer. He described this venture on the TechTO stage in March 2025 as something that "fell out of an art project" he had started on the side, after falling for podcasts on long drives as a father of three.
